Every year, breast cancer affects 1 woman in 8. Luckily, it's avoidable.
Do yours have a pet name? If so, what kind? Affectionate, tender, funny, ironic, cliché, sexy, cute or downright dirty? In this campaign Carte Noir Instant and BETC asked 12 women to reveal their breasts' pet names. Those women included the designer Chantal Thomass, the singer Micky Green and the model Caidy Huan. Why? As a way to talk about them - and take better care of them.
The aim of this awareness campaign is to remind us of the importance of cancer screening. In 90% of cases, breast cancer detected early is perfectly treatable. So why wait? Get yourself screened. And urge your friends to do the same - post a photo to social media showing your chest with the accessory that best represents it and the hashtag #AuNomDesSeins.
