For all those times when you feel there’s something missing from the party, here’s a few moves that can change everything.
They always show up unannounced: those flat spots when the buzz doesn’t quite get off the ground, when our friends aren’t quite as much fun as usual, when the local wildlife leaves you cold or when the lighting at the club isn’t exactly up your alley. At times like that, we’d all like to just snap our fingers and make everything better, just like that, in the blink of an eye, go from blue to pink or back again. Or maybe all it takes is a whiff of perfume and a touch of mascara to put our life back on track?
That’s the idea behind The Shock, the latest film for YSL Beauty by BETC Luxe and BETC Pop, which blends the worlds of perfume and mascara into a single storyline where every gesture becomes a “shock” powerful enough to set off some head-spinning sensations.
Directed by young talent Nicolas Davenel (pop promos director for Birdy Nam Nam and KCPK), again starring top model Edie Campbell, and soundtracked by Nnormal from Javelin, the film is on air from 15 January with a 100% digital media plan, and social media coverage via a dedicated version for Snapchat.
