BETC Paris Expands Creative Department with International Talent for 2024

As 2023 comes to a close, we're thrilled to announce a new wave of international talent joining our creative department. These hires are part of BETC’s commitment to fostering creativity and innovation across its global markets, enhancing its position in the competitive advertising industry.

The new talents will be integrated into the growing creative teams led by Vice Presidents and Executive Creative Directors, Antoinette Beatson and Alasdhair Macgregor, under the leadership of Stéphane Xiberras, President and Chief Creative Officer at BETC Paris.

These creatives, hailing from diverse backgrounds, will operate across Paris, London, and Amsterdam, strengthening BETC's synergies with its sister agencies, BETC London and Havas Lemz in Amsterdam.

This expansion comes after the recent securing of Danone’s global account, further affirming the need for top-tier creative talent to meet the evolving demands of international markets.

1. Daniela De Seta – Creative Director

Daniela started her career at DDB Milano and later held positions at Armando Testa and Leo Burnett Torino, working on major automotive brands like Jeep, Chrysler, and Dodge. She also contributed to award-winning Heineken campaigns at Publicis Milano. Now, Daniela joins BETC Paris to oversee Danone’s international accounts.

2. Nick Bakshi – Creative Director

A seasoned creative, Nick started at GREY New York before moving to Ogilvy Paris and later Publicis Milan/Le Pub, where he created campaigns for brands like Heineken, Netflix, and Coca-Cola. He’s won over 30 international awards and returns to BETC Paris to lead the creative direction for Citroën.

3. Abi Stephenson & Matt Jones – Senior Creatives

Recognized as Campaign Magazine’s "Faces to Watch," Abi and Matt bring a wealth of experience from their time at VML London, BBC Creative, and various UK agencies. Their award-winning work for brands like Wendy’s and Snapchat earned them accolades, including the Cannes Young Lions. At BETC Paris, they will contribute to international campaigns for Citroën, Lipton, and Danone.

4. Tristan Lenczner & Simon Carr – Senior Creatives

Having worked across Europe with agencies like Iris Amsterdam and TBWA\NEBOKO, this duo has created campaigns for Adidas, McDonald's, and more. They join BETC Paris to work on key accounts like Deezer and Danone, bringing their award-winning creativity and passion for global campaigns.

5. Marcelo Carvalho – Art Director

Marcelo has worked with some of the world’s top creative agencies, including AMV BBDO and BBH London. After a brief stint studying jazz guitar, he returned to the ad world and created campaigns for Vodafone, Michelin, Nutella, and CANAL+ before joining BETC Paris.

As the new creative team members settle in, we look forward to seeing how their unique perspectives and talents will elevate the agency’s work in 2024 and beyond.
