According to François Simon, Bertrand Aboyneau and Rosapark, the 11th arrondissement, especially in the vicinity of the well-named Village Paul Bert, is a real culinary Eldorado. We took their word for it - but now we have the actual proof!
Browsing through the pages of “Village Paul Bret, délicieux pâté de maisons”, we come across a brilliant Burratina, Emma de Caunes, the ever-friendly Cyril Lignac, various passers-by and some iconic neighbours like Mr Rémy (and his red panda car).
All of which sets the scene of a picturesque and lively neighbourhood whose love of good food is plain to see. Recipes, restaurants and other watering holes, the entire art de vivre of this little village is encapsulated in this gorgeous book, illustrated by Cécile Chabert.
A must-have - and definitely a must-eat!
