Usually, before playing the Loto, you know how much you might lose, but never exactly how much you might win. So to celebrate its 40th birthday, France's favourite lottery has decided to flip things around.
There won't be a car to be won is some improbable sounding contest, nor a winning ticket that requires sending the same message over and over to some telephone number. None of that. This time, it's you who decides the final jackpot.
To do that, nothing could be simpler: join the Facebook event "Blow up the jackpot". For every participant, one euro will be added to a sum that will total a minimum of 13 million euros in the form of the Friday Super LOTO on September 16th. Applies from 26th August to September 9th.
If you win this one, you've no one to thank but yourself.
