We turned the new BETC building into a digital art gallery. Two months later, it's already a massive hit.
They say the web is the kingdom of the ephemeral. Or even the amnesiac's paradise. But not this time. With its 20,000 m2 of space visitable in 3D and real time, and with its 50,000 tags, the Graffiti Général site created by BETC is putting the old Pantin Magasins Généraux on the pages of history.
Having already won the label Google Chrome Experiment - in recognition of the best open-source experiments - the virtual walls of the building about to be occupied by BETC have already welcomed 80,000 visitors. And almost as many graffiti: declarations of love, artwork and - for the less romantic - applications for internships.
